Bay Ridge Hardscapes

Fire Pits & Features

Wood-burning and gas fire features designed to be the reason you stay outside after sunset.

A fire feature is usually the last piece of a patio design and the one people use the most. We build both wood-burning pits and natural gas or propane features with push-button or match-lit ignition, set into a paver or stone seat wall so there's built-in seating without extra furniture.

Every fire feature is sized and cleared per local code for safe distance from structures, railings, and combustible landscaping, and gas features get a dedicated line run and shutoff as part of the install. Materials are matched to your existing patio and walls so the fire feature reads as original to the design, not bolted on afterward.

What Customers Say

“Our old retaining wall was leaning so badly we were worried about the deck above it. Bay Ridge tore it out, found the drainage problem nobody else had mentioned, and rebuilt it properly with drain tile behind it. Two winters later it hasn't moved an inch.”

Video testimonial from Dave Lundgren
“The patio turned out better than the design mockup, which never happens. They walked us through every material choice and the crew was on our property working, not standing around, every single day.”
Dave Lundgren — Harbor Springs · Google
“We use our outdoor kitchen from May through October and it still looks brand new. The stainless held up through last winter with zero rust, exactly like they said it would.”
